Derrick Gervin played professional basketball in the NBA and overseas, and now, the brother of Spurs legend George “Ice” Gervin, is using his experiences to inspire local youth to be the best version of themselves on and off the court.

“To me, it was about giving back to kids. Basketball and life are a lot the same to me, so I wanted to give these kids an opportunity to realize some dreams,” Derrick Gervin said. Derrick Gervin played basketball for the University of Texas at San Antonio and was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1985.
